Are you on the lookout for a floor that’s different and out of the ordinary but that has real history? If so, check out this select sold oak flooring in herringbone that’s been brushed and UV oiled. If you’re not familiar with herringbone flooring, it’s a solution that’s been around for centuries.

A solution that traditionally would have called for teams of craftsmen to create, today you can have this in your home, effortlessly looking great in less time than you dare imagine. Bright and neutral, this solution lets you go as wild and imaginative as you like or stay conservative with your décor.

Wood Flooring Type | Solid
Solid wood flooring is one of the most popular choices because it is so natural and stylish. The choice of wealthy landowners and stately home owners for centuries, this flooring solution is now within everyone's reach. Solid wood flooring is also known as real hardwood flooring because it is made from one piece of 100% hardwood timber. Because of it, solid wood flooring is highly durable and you will be able to sand, refinish or re-coat several times thereby greatly extending the useful life of the floor. Due to their nature, solid wood flooring is recommended for those who wish to rejuvenate the floor due to heavy foot traffic.

Hardwood Species | Oak
Oak is a really popular wood flooring option, both in solid and engineered wood flooring varieties. It is popular because it is particularly strong and will last for years and years. Oak wood flooring allowed colour variation between planks which can vary from light to dark shades.

Grade | Select
Wood is a completely natural product and as such has features such as knots, colour variation and sap. In order to help you know what to expect when you choose wood, it is graded when it is lumbered. There are four grades of wood: prime, select, natural and rustic. Select grade exhibits fewer knots and colour variation than Rustic or Natural grade but still has some characteristics and knots associated with the two. Whilst there will be some boards with wood filler with coloured or wood colour knots and colour variations, the overall effect of the floor will give a "Cleaner" look than either Rustic or Natural. This very unique product has a stunning visual look that will transform any room.

Finish | Brushed and UV Oiled
Similar to oiled finish, the floor is coated in a protective UV Oil coating, but has an extra country look to it as the brushed effect creates a naturally textured surface that gently highlights the natural grain structure. UV Oiled and brushed finish is very popular for those who wish to keep a natural look, but also protect the wood.

All our flooring is covered by a 20 year domestic/residential Product Manufacturer's Warranty. In order for the warranty to be effective, all flooring must be installed by a professional fitter in accordance with the manufacturer's installation guide (view more installation details under Installation and Maintenance section of this product). This warranty is against manufacturing defects only.

When you've received your flooring, you should store it completely flat and in sealed boxes until you are ready to lay it. Boxes should be kept inside your house (not in a garage or other outbuilding).
