Staple Down Wood Flooring
Staple down wood flooring is a quick and easy type of flooring to install. Available in engineered and solid wood flooring options, staple down wood flooring is sold in the form of tongue and groove boards. The boards are called tongue and groove because they feature a protruding ‘tongue’ and a ‘groove’ into which the tongue fits.
When you choose staple down wood flooring, you can be sure that each board will fit snugly next to the last one and the following one. Once you have placed the first board, you simply need to run down the edge with your staple gun to fix the board quickly and efficiently into place.
What’s more, if you choose not to staple your flooring into place, you can nail it down. All of that said, staple down wood flooring should only be chosen when you have a wooden subfloor.
