Solid wood flooring is also known as real hardwood flooring because it is made from one piece of 100% hardwood timber. Because of it, solid wood flooring is highly durable and you will be able to sand, refinish or re-coat several times thereby greatly extending the useful life of the floor. Due to their nature, solid wood flooring is recommended for those who wish to rejuvenate the floor due to heavy foot traffic.

Warranty
All our flooring is covered by a 20 year domestic/residential Product Manufacturer's Warranty. In order for the warranty to be effective, all flooring must be installed by a professional fitter in accordance with the manufacturer's installation guide (view more installation details under Installation and Maintenance section of this product).
This warranty is against manufacturing defects only, for full details and warranty exclusion please read our [Warranty Information].
Warranties typically cover manufacturing defects, and they do not extend to damages or scratches resulting from improper handling, use or wear and tear. This is why some claims might be denied if the damage falls outside the warranty's scope. Proper care and maintenance are essential for ensuring the longevity of our products

Species
Oak is a wood that is known for its strength and long life. You can be sure by choosing this option that you're getting a strong and long-lasting product. Oak wood flooring allowed colour variation between planks which can vary from light to dark shades.
Grade
Natural
When wood is processed it is graded. This grading process takes into account the number and the size of knots that are present in the wood, the consistency of the colour and the amount of sap naturally present in the wood. The Natural grade of this floor allows little sapwood, knots of varying sizes some mineral streaks, natural grain pattern and colour variation. Any knots, splits or imperfections might be filled by coloured or wood colour filler.

Product Finish
Finish | UV Lacquered
This wood flooring has been finished with a UV filter and has been lacquered. What this means is that the overall finish is tough, has a slight shine to it (even if matt lacquer is used there will always be a slight shine) and will stand up to the negative effects of sunshine and extreme natural light.
Storage
When you've received your flooring, you should store it completely flat and in sealed boxes until you are ready to lay it. Boxes should be kept inside your house (not in a garage or other outbuilding). During storage, please make sure that your flooring is well away from extreme heat (radiators) and moist areas (recently plastered walls, damp basements etc). We recommend an acclimatizing period of at least 14 days.

Installation & Maintenance
We recommend treating your flooring with accoradance to our maintenance guides every 3-12 months (depends on traffic and need) with the following:

Please always try on an offcut or a small corner to see that you are happy with the result before applying on your floor.

Returns and refunds
If we receive a cancellation request from you and you have accepted delivery of your products, you must return the goods to us, at your own expense, to the following Kent address, where our warehouse is located: CKR Services, Crossways Cargo Centre, Galleon Boulevard, DA2 6QE.
