Kitchen upstands are also known as a splash-back as they run along the back of the kitchen worktops where the wood work surface meets the kitchen wall. These are highest quality upstands which come is sizes of 4m or 3m long x18mm T x 80mm W and starts at just £25.00 for Oak and £45.00 for Walnut.

The advantage of using an upstand:

1. It provides a discreet way to hide the gap between the wall and the end of the square edged worktop. This gap is required for the wood to expand.
2. It also hides any unevenness between the worktop and the wall.
3. Gives the worktop a great elegant finishing look which completes the attractive look a wooden worktop has.
