Ipe Decking originates from South America and is a very popular choice. Ipe is an environmentally responsible choice which naturally resists rot, decay, insects, and mold without the use of toxic chemicals which are used in other decking products. It is also naturally fire resistant. Ipe Decking comes in a width of 140mm, thickness of 19mm and in a length of 2000mm-3000mm. Ipe is dark brownish olive to dark olive in appearance, sometimes greenish due to lapachol. The grain of this hardwood is interlocked and the texture is classed as medium, luster is moderate or lacking depending on the species, the wood has a characteristic odor. Ipe is well known for its strength and is thought be the one of the hardest woods in the world (strength is three times harder than oak) and is highly resistant against fungi and termites and other pests.

Free sample is available to order. We charge £0.99 delivery which will be refunded once you've placed your order with us. The sample will allow you to feel the high quality wood and see its beautiful rich markings. We aim to dispatch the sample within a day so you won't have to wait long. Please note that our decking comes untreated, so please oil it after it is properly laid.

Please ensure Minimum of 6mm expansion gap between planks.

Please enswure Max of 400mm between center to center.

How To Clean Your Garden Decking:

1. Clear the area - Make sure the decking surface is free of any obstacles so you can concentrate on cleaning rather than moving chairs and tables around. Do not drag any piece of furniture around and consider getting a helping hand for this step.

2. Brush thoroughly - Using a stiff broom, give the deck a thorough brush followed by jet wash using a pressure washer if you have one. Those which are used as multi-purpose home jet cleaners will work best and will ensure not to damage the wood.

3. Use warm water and soda crystals - To clean the decked surface on a budget and to minimise wastage, use warm water and soda crystals. Spray warm water over the decked surface and sprinkle soda crystals. Leave the area to dry for a few hours and once dry brush using a stiff broom.
