Delivery Information

Woodandbeyond.com offers a standard delivery service where all goods are delivered within 3 to 6 working days. We will advise you at the time of order whenever possible of approximate delivery lead-times.

Goods delivered normally arrive between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You are able to indicate your preferred delivery day in the shopping cart, when you purchase your choice of products. We will then call you to confirm that this date is possible, or to arrange an alternate date that is convenient to you, In the unusual likelihood of a delay, we will call you to discuss alternative options.

We offer free delivery on all orders of flooring over £598 + VAT to majority of U.K. For orders under this value a delivery charge of £45.00 + VAT will be applied.
A delivery surcharge will also apply to Scotland, Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight.

 

For Worktops, Flooring and Decking deliveries we charge the following:


London and Essex £45.00 + VAT England and Wales £55.00 + VAT Scotland £80.00 + VAT Republic of Ireland £90.00 + VAT for one, and for every additional worktop £30.00 + VAT. For deliveries into Europe please call one of our sales advisors on 0208 2092662 or email us on sales@woodandbeyond.com.

Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3-5 working days. Next day delivery can be arranged, a special next day fee delivery will then be applied. For next day deliveries orders must be placed and full payment cleared before 10am. We cannot offer next day deliveries for orders placed over the weekend or bank holidays. All next day delivers are subject to stock.

Due to insurance guidelines all deliveries are made to kerb side at the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. You must arrange for adequate help to off load the flooring, the driver cannot help move the flooring into your home. As deliveries can be made by a large lorry or van, it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order. Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are at the couriers’ discretion but you can ask for either an AM or PM specified delivery for an extra cost(£45), Saturday delivery at an extra cost of (£55).

If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there or you do not have the help required to off load the stock, you will be liable for the re-delivery charge of (£60).If the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.
If a courier arrives at your address and you refuse to take the delivery, you will also be liable for a charge of (£60) .If the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.

Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after our driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur a return delivery charge of (£60) .If the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply. In the unlikely event that some of your goods are damaged we will collect and replace the product. Any claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.

No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations until goods have been received.

In the event that you are not available to provide a signature on the pre-arranged date, then you will be charged for re-delivery of £60, if the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply. Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location.

 

When Your Order Arrives


When your order arrives, you want to be sure the quantities match what you ordered. To guarantee customer satisfaction, please have your order confirmation email you received to hand as it lists the materials and quantities of your order. Please examine the pallet and count each item to make sure everything ordered has been received, making note of the following when receiving your order:

1.Visually inspect the condition and entirety of your delivery

2. Make sure to note missing items or damaged materials

Unless specifically requested (additional cost), all deliveries are curbside. This means that you (or someone able) must be home to take the material from the trailer to your home. The driver will only unload to the curbside and is not allowed to enter your home.
DO NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the material received is in good condition and that all material has been accounted for. Any damages or missing items must be noted on your delivery receipt. If not noted we are unable to process any replacement products. products.

 

Damaged Faulty Goods


All carriers are selected through stringent guidelines for service and quality control. If you have a concern regarding delivery, please advise our customer care department immediately. If you are unfortunate to receive damaged, or there are missing, item(s) please make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. Damaged, faulty or missing goods must be reported to us immediately on delivery either by phone: 0208 2092662 fax: 08703305990 or email: sales@woodandbeyond.com .Any damaged goods MUST be signed as damaged on the delivery note, We will then make further arrangements with you to replace the damaged goods.
Cancellations and Returns (Applicable for Internet Sales only). In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order, up to 7 days after you have received the goods. All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulation” a guide of which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf

If goods have not been dispatched we will refund you the full invoice amount within 2 working days.

If you have taken delivery for your goods we will arrange with you for the goods to be collected from the delivery address, and will then refund the total amount paid for the goods, less the cost incurred by us for the first delivery and collection (this cost is the charge made to us by the delivery company) prices will vary depending on location. The standard cost for a collection or a delivery in mainland UK is &pound60; but if the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.

If a courier arrives at your address and you refuse to take delivery and cancel the order you will be liable for a charge of £60 but if the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.
We do reserve the right to refuse part order returns. If you wish to return any goods they must be complete, packed and unused, and in "as new" condition.

If you wish to return any goods you must ensure that they are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you have opened any boxes to examine the product we recommend that you take care with the packaging and try not to damage it as it is specifically designed for the product. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge accordingly.

Refunds will be within 7 days of cancellation. Returns cannot be accepted on special order products. To cancel your order you must inform us either in writing or by email: sales@woodandbeyond.com
