'Add beauty to your house' with wood flooring patterns

Posted on 3rd Sep 2010 @ 4:41 PM

Thinking outside of the box with regards to the  wooden floor can help people create a look which is both exciting and unique.

The freshome blog stated that there are a number of different ways that wood can be used around the home and that this extends to the flooring as well, with uniformity not necessarily the only way to go.

According to the source, parquet wood tiles can make the hall and other large rooms in a property look more spectacular.

Whether couples decide to fit parquet flooring or not, they should use their imaginations to create something special.

"Try using contrasting wood colours and varieties instead of an area rug," the blog added.

Clare Pascoe, director of Pascoe Interiors, said that homeowners who give their floor the correct love and attention will reap the rewards for years to come, with a little bit of dedication paying dividends in the long run.
